Weekly wrap up. Week 12

I'm down .6lbs. It doesn't seem like much but I'm finally into the next "10". If I can work hard and lose 1.5lbs this week I will make my 5% goal. Im still struggling to lose any weight and I'm not sure what the problem is. I'm working out regularly and drinking plenty of water. I have upped my calorie count but still feel like the pounds should be falling off. I will just keep chugging along and hope the weight comes off.

  1. I feel your pain! I know I can loose weight when I'm motivated to, but I seriously wish they sold Motivation in stores! Instead of energy, I'd like a big jug of Motivation! UGH! I've been watching those "Extreme makeover Weightloss" which seem to be the most realistic show on tv since they do it over the course of a year. And you're right, Rome wasn't built in one day so stick to it!!! (Easier said than done, I know, I know. ) I've also been reading a book about insulin resistance and changing the way we eat what we eat. Might want to check that out. It talks about balancing proteins with specific carbs and how they cancel eachother out so to speak. My endocrinologist said that if they knew what exactly helps people loose weight they'd be millionaires. While a little disheartening, I think my motto is if you eat like a fat ass, a fat ass you will be. If you eat like a skinny person than maybe skinny you will be? blah! Any how,I'm heading to Texas, and coming back on the 19th, so week of August 20th, I'm going to give it a seriously serious go. <3 ya!
